Jessica Gentry

Jessica began teaching at GJ Dance Studio in 2013 and has been the Showtroupe Director since 2015. She grew up competing at C & C Dance Company in Bowie, Md where she fell in love with being on stage. She has been teaching since she was 18 years old and her students and choreography have won numerous awards at regional and national competitions. Her favorite place to be is in the dance studio teaching her students!

Jessica Stibick
Ballet Teacher

Jessica Stibick has been a ballet teacher at GJ Dance Studio since 2007. Jessica was trained to teach and dance at the National Ballet School. She is currently a principal dancer with the National Ballet Company and has performed as a principal guest artist with the Niagara Ballet Company and Williamsburg Ballet Theatre. She has also studied as a dancer and teacher at various schools and seminars throughout the United States, Denmark, England, Germany, andAustralia. Jessica obtained the Maestro Enrico Cecchetti Diploma in 2008, the highest certification in the Cecchetti Method of Classical Theatrical Dancing, qualifying her to train both students and teachers through the entire method. In 2011, the East Coast Committee of the Cecchetti Council of America awarded her with the Young Teacher Scholarship and has since elected her as a member of the board. Jessica Stibick is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Additionally, in 2005 Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland.

Alisa Tucker
Showtroupe Choreographer

Alisa has been dancing since the age of 2 and began competing at the age of 5. She began teaching her own classes at the age of 17 and her students and choreography have won many awards. In January of 2016 Ms Alisa welcomed her daughter, Sadie and can’t wait for her to begin dancing! Alisa loves to share her passion and love for dance with every child she teaches.

Danin Turner
Showtroupe & Recreational Teacher / Choreographer

Currently attending the College of Southern Maryland, Danin teaches both recreational and competitive classes. She had been a student at Gj’s since the age of 2 and has won numerous awards and titles both regionally and nationally! She has also been a cast member in many productions at Port Tobacco Theatre in LaPlata, Md. “I love the Broadway style of Dance and I hope to be there some day.”

Anna Belmore
Showtroupe & Recreational Teacher / Choreographer

Anna has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She began dancing at Debbie Manoley’s and later joined the competitive dance team at Judy’s Studio of Dance when she started teaching at the age of 16. She later joined the GJ family and has enjoyed teaching many different styles of dance ever since.

Maggie Mudd
Ballet & Technique Teacher

Maggie Mudd is a graduate of Point Park University with a BFA in Dance, and she has danced/choreographed professionally in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Washington DC. Her heart lies in modern dance, especially Graham, Cunningham and Ailey techniques. Her teaching specialty is in modern and ballet techniques, providing dancers with a foundation for all movement types, and a keen understanding of how their bodies work. Using a hybrid style of dance techniques and disciplines, Maggie looks forward to being a helping hand to the GJ's dancers, and a mentor for all things related to technique and foundations.
